Jena Woodhouse

Jena Woodhouse's most recent book was a narrative, Farming Ghosts, Ginninderra 2009. A collection of short stories, Dreams of Flight, will be published by Ginninderra in April 2013. Woodhouse's poetry has been widely published, and she has received awards for both poetry and fiction. Her interest in translation from the Modern Greek and Russian derives from contact with those languages and cultures, the former as a result of ten years living and working in Greece, the latter in the course of academic study and teaching. In 2011 Jena Woodhouse was a Hawthornden Fellow. A new collection of poetry is in preparation.
