Jonathan Hadwen

Jonathan Hadwen is a Brisbane writer who has been haunting the various halls of SpeedPoets since 2008.  His poetry has been published in Westerly, fourW, and Stand Magazine, as well as other publications in Australia and overseas. In 2013 he was named runner-up in the Thomas Shapcott Poetry Prize for an unpublished manuscript, and was commended again in 2014. In 2014 he also placed second in the Josephine Ulrick Prize. He helps out with the Queensland Poetry Festival, and in 2015 will take up a Residency at Varuna.
