Amanda Anastasi is a writer and poet from Melbourne, Australia. Her writing has been published in magazines and anthologies both locally and in NZ, the US, the UK and Ireland, including The Massachusetts Review and Cordite Poetry Review. Amanda’s debut poetry collection, 2012 and other poems, was listed in Ali Alizadeh’s ‘Top Ten Poetic Works of 2012’ in Overland Literary Journal. A chapbook with Robbie Coburn, ‘The Silences’, was recently published by Eaglemont Press. Amanda is a two-time winner of the Ada Cambridge Poetry Prize, and her writing has been featured on the walls of Windsor's Artist Lane and on the scrolling text screens of Federation Square. She is the convener of La Mama Poetica.
