Lea Hills

Lea Hills is co-editor and co-founder of the poetry section of Moving Galleries , a poetry/art project on Melbourne's trains.

Leanne's work has been published, performed, awarded and translated both locally and internationally.

Recent pieces have appeared in Overland , Cordite , Frogpond (US), Bravado (NZ), ginyu quarterly (Japan), Going Down Swinging and Famous Reporter. In April 2007, a modern ballet, Les Portes du Monde, for which she wrote the libretto and poems, in French, was performed in Lausanne, Switzerland. Her prize-winning poetry collection, the possibility of flight will be released in 2008.

Born in new Zealand, Leanne lives and works in Melbourne's Dandenongs.
