Helen Lowe

Helen Lowe won the Robbie Burns poetry prize (Previously Unpublished category) in 2003 and has since had work broadcast on National Radio and published in the NZ Listener, Takahe, NZEPC, A Fine Line, Yellow Moon (Australia) and Carve (USA) literary journals, and the Christchurch Press and Waikato Times newspapers.   Helen is featured in Volume 62 of Takahe and has been anthologised in 'tiny gaps' (NZ Poetry Society), 'Home' (Random House, New Zealand) and the 'Best of Carve 2005' (USA). Her first novel is scheduled for publication by Knopf (USA) in October 2008.
