Andrew Burke  

Andrew Burke is an Australian poet, with six titles to his credit and
numerous short stories and literary pieces in magazines in the decades since
he began publishing in the Sixties. He has had two careers: first as a
Creative Director in advertising, then, second, as a lecturer and tutor in
English and writing at various universities in Perth and Linfen in China. In
2007, he spent six months in The Kimberley, on a remote community, teaching indigenous children. In 2008 he taught at Edith Cowan University and ran writing workshops for FAWWA at Tom Collins House. He spent November, 2008 as Writer-in-Residence in Broome.
